End of October Layering

October is coming to an end, and it's time to start thinking about jackets and coats and sweaters and hats. Layers is the name of the game, and this year I'm inspired by all the long-sleeve-under-a-tank looks I've been seeing. Of course, you can never go wrong with a classic leather jacket, or even a not-so-classic one!

Leather jackets are a good piece to invest some money into as a good quality one that you love is going to stay with you forever. I spent around $200 on mine several years ago at a shop on St. Marks Place in New York. I can't tell you how obsessed I still am with it and how many compliments I still get on it today. I've linked some similar ones below ranging in price.

Also: these hats. I really have no idea what their proper name is (I think I've seen them labeled as fisherman caps) but they are making a huge comeback and I'm not mad about it. It's a nice change from our favorite fedoras, and a little more functional without the wide brim. Details linked below!
