Banana Nut Butter Toast

I'll eat this yummy snack for breakfast if I need a little more energy for the day, or after a workout.  As with all my meals it's good for your body, easy to make, and tastes amazing. Honestly what more could you ask for?! This one packs an extra health punch with a sprinkling of chia seeds. Enjoy!

Banana Nut Butter Toast

What You Need:

  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Slices of your favorite bread. I use Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Bread
  • 2 Tablespoons of your favorite nut butter. I like almond butter or peanut butter.
  • Honey (optional)
  • Chia Seeds
  • Cinnamon (optional)


  1. Toast your bread however you like it.
  2. Spread nut butter evenly on both slices.
  3. Slice banana and place on top of nut butter. I usually have a bit of banana left which I'll just eat right away, but if you cut thin slices you can get away with only using half a banana.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon over banana.
  5. Sprinkle chia seeds over both slices of toast.
  6. Drizzle honey on top.
